We have partnered with the talented local artist, Tia Alysse, to give you the opportunity to pair a Daylesford Picnic Box with a Country Canvases painting classes.
Tia’s classes are BYO food and drinks, but if you’d prefer not to have to arrange your own food, you can order a Daylesford Picnic Box picnic box packed with picnic favourites made by small-batch artisans in and around Daylesford & Malmsbury. Each box includes everything you need to put together a grazing board for you to snack on during your 4-hour class – all yours to keep including a calico tote bag so you can pack up your picnic kit and any leftover to take home with you.
Scroll down to select from either a gourmet or taster box, with the option to add a local non-alcoholic drinks pack. On your way to the studio, we recommend you swing past Zig Zag Winery (just 5 minutes from the studio) to pick up a bottle of your favourite wine to enjoy at the class (Tia will supply glasses).
Order ahead via the links below, and we’ll deliver your box directly to the studio on the morning of your class. We kindly request that orders are placed at least 48hours prior to your class (please book your class prior to ordering a picnic box).

Getting to the Country Canvases Studio
By Car:
From Daylesford – Follow the Daylesford-Malmsbury road, cross over the railway bridge then turn right onto the Calder Highway which takes you down the main street in Malmsbury. Drive past the Malmsbury shops (watch out for the resident geese who cross back and forward over the main road!) then turn right into Chisholm Avenue. Then turn right into Davy Street and look out for the Country Canvases sign on the right. Drive slowly down the driveway and park outside the studio.
From Kyneton (or Melbourne) – Head down the Calder Fwy and exit right towards Malmsbury. Not long after the freeway turn off, turn left into Chisholm Avenue. Then turn right into Davy Street and look out for the Country Canvases sign on the right. Drive slowly down the driveway and park outside the studio.
By Train:
There is a VLine train station in Malmsbury (direct from Melbourne) which is approx. 4km from Country Canvases.
